Ryan’s Miracle Watch 10/21/11
Tomorrow is Pumpkin Day here at George Mark. The house is decorated throughout with pumpkins, fall colors and Halloween paraphernalia. Kids that have stayed here in the past along with their families will be joining in the festivities; some of them coming in costume. There’s going to be face painting, games, food and all sorts of fun. Sounds like a good time. I’ll have to dress Ryan in something fun, or maybe I’ll paint his face…Stay tuned…
It’s Friday, and Ryan is taking full advantage of being totally lazy. He’s been sleeping since I got here at around 9:30 or so, and it doesn’t look like he’ll be getting up any time soon. I’ll just let him rest…
Yesterday, I mentioned the miracle of the verse I read in Jeremiah. Well, you’ve gotta read Vicki’s comment today. She too read that same verse yesterday. The next verse (verse 4) is an excellent verse as well…read it.
So, yesterday afternoon I met a couple of young adults who drove all the way up from Bakersfield just to meet Ryan. They had learned of Ryan from our recently adopted daughter Kami, and just had to meet him. While we were talking, we experienced another miracle. I was talking about how Ryan is already healed in God’s eyes when all of a sudden TJ yells out Oh my God! Oh my God! He ran out to his car and brought back a piece of paper that he had written on earlier, and one of the entries at the top of the page read…wait for it…Ryan is healed. Earlier in the day, I was talking with Bob, and we were also talking about Ryan being healed. Bob was telling me that he changed his prayer from “please heal Ryan” to “please continue to heal Ryan’, in acknowledgement that God has been healing Ryan all along; in his earthly body, that is. All this to say, this is just one more sign that God is in the midst of all of this.
Please continue to pray for Ryan’s continued healing, and for us to have the awareness of God’s moving in a mighty way. There are no small miracles…
