Ryan’s Miracle Watch 1/31/12
Today is Jacob’s 15th birthday! Wow! Time really flies, doesn’t it? Tradition calls for taking the boys to a restaurant of their choice the night of their birthday’s. Tonight, it’s off to the Cheesecake Factory. Fortunately for us, both Ryan and Jacob have good taste…Happy Birthday Jacob!!
What a difference a shower makes. Ryan looks so much better today. He had his first shower in two and a half weeks. His hair is not greasy and his complexion looks good. His cheeks are rosy, he’s resting comfortably in his chair, and there’s no evidence of the turmoil he suffered, other than the bruises from failed attempts to find a vein for his IV’s. One would think they’d be trained better in vein finding school…or whatever it’s called.
Regardless, I think Ryan would be the first to point out that his bruises aren’t even close to being as bad as the ones inflicted upon his/our Savior…
Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.
