Ryan’s Miracle Watch 2/24/12
Ryan is doing really well at home. We’ve created a schedule for the nurses to follow so that he can get into a nice routine. The idea is to give him a week or two on the same schedule, see how he does and then I’d like to start reducing some of the medications he’s been on, so he can be more awake like he was when he was at George Mark. Don’t worry, I’ll discuss it with his neurologist first before I go messing with his meds…
So, I’ve mentioned in the past how Ryan has always been one to go out of his way to make new people feel welcome. Well, a few weeks ago Janine and I were invited to watch a speech given by one of the people that Ryan befriended in such a manner. Eric Wang (pronounced Wong), first came to the US from China around two years ago. He’s the young man giving the speech in the following You Tube video.

Thank you Eric. We are so glad God brought you into Ryan’s life, and more recently into ours. We love you…

We are thrilled for you all to finally have Ryan home!! I watched the video and couldn’t help but cry to hear Eric’s kind and true words about Ryan. Cassidy said that Ryan was exactly that way with her when she was a brand-new-didn’t-know-anyone freshman and he was instantly a kind and friendly face! Can’t wait to pop down the road to see you all soon! Love to you all!
