Ryan’s Miracle Watch 3/27/12
Ryan is doing well today. He really likes being home. It’s just so evident in his countenance. As usual, Bob conducted his fabulous Tuesday Bible study, and I couldn’t help but look at Ryan lying there so peacefully just soaking in all of God’s good words. BTW, we began a new study in the book of Joshua.
Earlier in the day, I was with a friend, and we were speaking about how blessed we are even though we are both currently going through some trials. If it weren’t for the daily reminder of our circumstances, we might be lulled into a state of indifference; having no interest in the goings-on of God all around us. I am truly grateful for this season in my life, despite the obvious trial…
Why does it take a cold slap in the face to get me to think about God? Shouldn’t his faithful provision for my every need be enough? I need to complain less, or better yet, not at all…
Exodus 16:4, 5 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Look, I’m going to rain down food from heaven for you. Each day the people can go out and pick up as much food as they need for that day. I will test them in this to see whether or not they will follow my instructions. On the sixth day they will gather food, and when they prepare it, there will be twice as much as usual.”
