Ryan’s Miracle Watch 6/13/12
Definition of Adapt: verb: make fit for, or change to suit a new purpose.
As y’all know, we have to modify (or adapt) our home to accommodate Ryan’s needs. They’ve taken a while to get here, but we finally have our permits to build Ryan’s addition! Praise the Lord!! A materials list and schedule are being put together, and pretty soon we’ll break ground…hopefully. We’ve still got to raise a ton of money, but God has provided every need of ours to this point, and we are confident that He will continue to do so. It’s gonna be so nice to have Ryan centered where all the activity happens. I can’t wait, but know I have to…
Definition of Adapt: verb: adapt or conform oneself to new or different conditions
As y’all know, we’ve had to adapt to a new lifestyle brought on by Ryan’s condition. It’s been nearly a year since his incident, and I believe I have grown in ways I never would or could have imagined. What a ride, and what a blessing this journey has been! Thank you Lord for leading me down this path and for broadening my horizons…

Just read about Ryan on CNN.com. I prayed for him, laying my hand on the screen. I’m standing in agreement with you and with others who believe in God’s supernatural powers. I pray also for your strength as you care for Ryan and await his miracle. Now, you have someone else praying. How beautiful, how powerful!

Dear Buchanan family, I along with so many others have read about your son’s plight. I read that you have perhaps seen him smile or open his eyes and make eye contact. I hope you investigate assistive technology access tools to find a possible way for him to use whatever strength you have noticed to possibly activate electronics of any sort–radio, tv, or even some sort of communication device some day…any strength can be magnified through technology–from movement on his face from the faintest smile to even the slightest eye movements. My thoughts for you all.
