Ryan’s Miracle Watch 7/1/12
One of the drawbacks of having a website that receives as many hits as Ryan’s does, is that it draws the attention of spammers who enter incredible amounts of spam e-mails that have to be sifted through and deleted. It’s a tiresome task, BUT well worth the trouble when I get to the ones that are as encouraging as ALL of yours have been. Thank you so much for your kind words of love, prayer, support, encouragement, stories, advice, information, etc. etc. etc. We are blessed beyond measure on a daily basis by our extended family/community…
Ryan had a slight fever today, but it was short-lived with the aid of Tylenol. Overall, he’s been doing well. It’s amazing how well his body/skin has held up since being bedridden for over a year now. It’s all due to his young age and the dedication of all those who give him physical therapy and turning him to one side or another every two hours. If you leave someone in Ryan’s condition (or anyone for that matter) in a single position for too long, you can develop bed sores (skin breakdown) or your joints can become stiff, etc. So, I guess our parents were right when they said that if you cross your eyes, they’ll stay that way. I never worried about it though, because I know there is a cure… :~)
John 9:25 He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!”
Please don’t forget to order your cookbooks!! It’s Jacob’s job to stuff them into envelopes and address them, and he gets a small stipend for each one he does. He doesn’t have a clue as to what he’s saving up for, but he’ll know when he sees it. His words, not mine…

I will keep Ryan in all of my prayers. God bless Ryan & your family.
