Ryan’s Miracle Watch 8/7/12
Balance noun: harmonious arrangement or relation of parts or elements within a whole
Sitting here watching the Olympics and the balance beam competition is on. It takes an incredible amount of strength, skill, concentration, determination and not to mention balance, to stay atop what amounts to be slightly wider than a 4X 6 plank. Leaping, spinning, flipping, twirling, blind landings and etc. makes my head spin. Needless to say it makes me tense to watch. There’s definitely a sigh of relief when a routine is finished.
So, life is kind of like doing a routine on the balance beam. It takes an incredible amount of strength, skill, concentration, determination and not to mention balance, to stay atop what amounts to be a significant mass of dirt and water with 7 billion plus people on it. Leaping, spinning, flipping, twirling, blind landings and etc. makes my head spin. Needless to say, it can get pretty tense at times. But when life here on earth is finished, there will be a huge sigh of relief…and a whole lot of praising going on!
Please pray for Ryan tonight. His heart rate has been elevated the past couple of days, and we can’t figure out why. Every other vital is normal, and there are no other signs of stress as far as we can tell. Maybe he just misses his brother Jacob, who is at the lake with his youth group this week. While you’re at it, would you also please pray for the safety of our youth? Thank you.
